Comics “The Muslim Show” – which 400,000 people follow online – you get sick and end up in misery if you refuse to profess Islam (Update: Instagram has deleted this account)
In 2009, Noredine Allam, together with Greg Blondin and Karim Allam, created the Muslim Show, a comic series illustrating the daily life of Muslims living in the West in a rather sombre way. The series is published by Éditions du BDouin, which he founded for the occasion in collaboration with the publishing house Dargaud.

“The same as Samuel Paty”: A pupil in France who threatened to behead a teacher but only receives a simple course on the dangers of the internet as punishment
A little more than a year after his beheading in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine (Yvelines), the name of Samuel Paty is still on everyone’s lips. And apparently some people have not got the message. As Actu17 reports, a high school student was taken into custody after a teacher from Les Ulis (Essonne) complained about death threats.
The teacher had actually learned about videos posted on the social network Snapchat, which is very popular among young people, showing him in class. According to our police sources, the videos were supplemented by texts advocating terrorism and, most importantly, an inciting message: “May the same happen to him as happened to Samuel Paty.” Worrying enough to launch an investigation and arrest the youth in question.
The young man was finally arrested on Tuesday 19 October and taken into police custody as he prepared to go on holiday with his parents and “fly to Morocco”. In front of investigators, he admitted to the charges but pretended to be… a joke with which he wanted to “make his friends laugh”. Despite the seriousness of the offence, the young teenager was sentenced only to a requirement to attend an awareness course on the dangers of digital technology and social media, Actu17 reports. He was released from the custody.
It should be noted that ” justifying terrorism and direct incitement to terrorism” are considered criminal offences. For crimes committed via the internet, the penalty is seven years’ imprisonment and a fine of 100,000 euros. For written or verbal death threats, the offender faces three years imprisonment and a fine of 45,000 euros.

Germany sees rise in excess mortality in Covid-19 vaccination year
The German Federal Statistical Office reported an excess mortality rate of 10 percent above the mean value for previous years in Germany. The mainstream is silent on this increase.
The Ministry of Health only gave a meaningless answer to journalist Boris Reitschuster’s question about the shocking statistics. There were fewer Covid-19 deaths, they announced instead. The fact is: Vaccination critics expected this development.
For months there have been increasing reports of the high mortality in old people’s homes after vaccination appointments or an increase in intensive care patients due to vaccination. However, they are difficult to prove, as they are mostly based on hearsay and small samples. Data protection and medical confidentiality usually prevent gleaning direct evidence.
But there is now an increase in total mortality that cannot be denied. The increase in deaths may not yet constitute solid evidence, because, as statistics expert Thorsten Wiethölter pointed out, the data on the age structure are missing for more precise conclusions.
But this is how the German government explained excess mortality: By saying nothing at all. When Reitschuster asked the German government how they explained excess mortality, he also raised the question of whether it could be the “Israel effect”. By this he meant the observed increase in intensive care patients after the start of the vaccination campaign.
The answer of the spokeswoman for Health Minister Jens Spahn (CDU) was: The government does not explain the excess mortality and it does not care, because “Covid-19 deaths have decreased”.
Parissa Hajebi replied for Spahn: “It is the case that statistics on excess mortality cannot be interpreted in real time. The comparison data is missing for this. The number of Corona deaths has decreased significantly. That is also a very good development.”
The mainstream media became exalted when Spain vaccinated itself “to the top of the world”. Spain is indeed at the “top”, namely the number one in excess mortality.
In Great Britain a report by the Telegraph shook things up, with doctors observing an increase in illnesses and deaths. They justified this with the “misguided Corona policy”.
On the other hand, because of vaccine damage to the immune system, more people are also getting viral diseases such as the flu, which in turn also leads to an increase in deaths.
Not only has mortality increased in Germany since the start of the vaccination campaign, but children and adolescents are increasingly filling Germany’s intensive care units. At the Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI), three deaths after vaccination and a large number of heart infections were registered in the first three weeks after the STIKO recommendation for vaccinating children. The three children who died in the first few weeks after the onset of the children’s vaccinations are said to have suffered fatal pulmonary embolisms, bleeding and multiple organ failure, as well as circulatory shock.
The government and the mainstream are also silent on this. And the Paul Ehrlich Institute has also been silent on the causes. As reported by Russia Today, the PEI has not yet issued a further safety report since their first one – that is, for a whole three months already.
Apparently vaccination side effects and vaccination deaths are not that important as far as the government is concerned. After all, German health authorities maintain that anyone who dies from vaccinations or a weakened immune system can no longer die from Covid-19. And according to the statement of the Spahn spokeswoman, this is ultimately a success.

Newcastle takeover: Police investigate Crystal Palace fans’ banner criticising Saudi Arabian deal
Police are investigating a graphic banner displayed by Crystal Palace fans that targeted the Saudi Arabian-led takeover of Newcastle United.
The banner took aim at the Premier League’s ownership test, following Newcastle’s recent £305m sale.
It featured illustrations of a man dressed in traditional Arabic clothing alongside what appeared to be Premier League chief executive Richard Masters.
The banner had a checklist with alleged offences by the Saudi Arabia regime.
Listed on a picture of a clipboard under the headline ‘Premier League Owners Test’ were ‘Terrorism, beheading, civil rights abuses, murder, censorship and persecution’.
The man in Arab-style clothing was also holding a sword with blood on it.
Palace fan group Holmesdale Fanatics has taken credit for the banner – displayed during the 1-1 draw between the clubs on Saturday – on Twitter, and issued a statement.
“The Saudi led takeover of Newcastle has rightly received widespread condemnation and anger,” it said.
“To give the thumbs up to this deal at a time when the Premier League is promoting the women’s game and inclusive initiatives such as rainbow armbands, shows the total hypocrisy at play and demonstrates the league’s soulless agenda where profits trump all.”
The takeover was 80% financed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), whose chair is Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
When approving the takeover, the Premier League said it had received legal assurances from the new owners that the Saudi state would not control Newcastle United and there would be penalties if it was proved otherwise.
The fans group’s statement said this decision “made a mockery” of the ‘Owners and Directors’ test.
Croydon Metropolitan Police have released a statement on Twitter, which says: “On Saturday 23 October police received a report of an offensive banner displayed by Crystal Palace fans.
“Officers are assessing the information and carrying out enquiries. Any allegations of racist abuse will be taken very seriously.”
Proud and Palace, the club’s official lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender supporters group, also protested on Saturday, posting a video on their Twitter account.
It is understood Crystal Palace themselves did not have any prior knowledge of the banner being brought into the ground.
They have been asked by police for information surrounding the circumstances and are co-operating with the investigation.
Newcastle, Crystal Palace and the Premier League have all been approached for comment by BBC Sport. The Premier League declined to comment.

Muezzin call in Cologne, Germany – theatre director demands permission also for anti-Islamic confessional call
Now that the city of Cologne has allowed 35 mosques to publicly sound the muezzin call, the well-known Cologne author, blogger, presenter, director, comedian and actor Gerd Buurmann has asked the municipality when he may sound an atheist call to prayer across Cologne. A provocation that is both dangerous for Buurmann and urgently needed for all of us.
“There is no god but Allah, Mohammed is Allah’s messenger. Hurry to prayer.” – At the beginning of October, the city of Cologne announced that this cry of confession would soon be heard in Cologne. Mayor Henriette Reker had started a two-year “pilot project” that would allow the city’s 35 mosques to publicly sound the call from the mosques’ loudspeakers across the city’s neighbourhoods.
On October 15, 2021, the well-known Cologne artist, moderator and blogger Gerd Burrmann then posed the following question to the municipality of Cologne regarding religious freedom:
“Herewith I ask for clarification of the question, during which time of the week I may let the following call resound loudly via electronic amplification across the streets and over the roofs of Cologne:
It took the “Diversity Team” of the cathedral city a whole 7 days to send Buurmann a standard answer – presumably in the folder “Answers to critical letters on the muezzin call” – which does not address the question at all:
“Allah is not great! I believe that there is no God, not even Allah. I declare that Mohammed was not a messenger of God. Stop the prayer! On to the best doubting! On to heresy! Allah is not great! There is no God, not even Allah!”
In Germany, freedom of religion is a fundamental right enshrined in Article 4 of the Basic Law. The EU also has a similar understanding of rights. For many years, Islam, “like many other religions, has been an integral part of German society”. Moreover, during the restrictions on the (alleged) Corona pandemic, muezzin calls within the city area were tolerated daily at midday and during Ramadan 2020 also daily at midday. For this reason, the city of Cologne had decided to implement a model project, initially limited to two years. A concrete answer to Buurmann’s question one looks in vain for.
The Cologne blogger has now followed up on this reply letter, which was completely meaningless with regard to his request:
“Dear Diversity Team,
You probably made an unfortunate mistake, because you sent me an email that was obviously intended for someone else, as my question is not answered there. I hope you can still find out who this reply was actually intended for.
Can you please answer my question? It is: I ask for clarification of the question, during which time of the week I may let the following call resound loudly via electronic amplification through the streets and over the roofs of Cologne:
“Allah is not great! I believe that there is no God, not even Allah. I declare that Mohammed was not a messenger of God. Stop the prayer! On to the best doubting! On to heresy! Allah is not great! There is no God, not even Allah!”
Especially for all those people who were persecuted, oppressed, tortured and humiliated in the name of Islam, it can definitely mean something if we also take these biographies into account in our cosmopolitan city. In this way, the interests of people suffering under Islam here are also represented and their individual history with Islam is accepted.
People suffering from fundamentalist Islam, many of them born here, are an integral part of Cologne’s urban society. Anyone who doubts this questions Cologne’s identity and individual stories of suffering. When we hear the call of critics of Islam in our city alongside the call of the muezzin, it shows that diversity is valued and lived in Cologne.
My question is: When may the rejection of Islam, loudly amplified in word and sound, regularly and peacefully presented, resound over Cologne?”
Anyone who knows a little about the excessively violent religious zeal of some Muslims compared to other religions knows the danger Buurmann is putting himself in with such a request. Against this background, the actions of the city of Cologne so far must be seen as simply inhumane.
