On Tuesday afternoon, a group of youths groped and sexually assaulted three 12-year-old girls in the open-air swimming pool in Kaufbeuren between 4 pm and 4.30 pm. The male youths, who are between 12 and 17 years old, surrounded the three girls in the warm water pool of the bath. According to the police report, the group partly held the girls and touched them indecently.
The lifeguard finally noticed the situation. He expelled the youths from the pool. However, the lifeguard was not yet aware of the assaultive acts that had taken place in the water.
After the incident, the girls and their parents contacted the Kaufbeuren police. The Kaufbeuren police are now investigating the case. The investigators are asking for information from witnesses and have the following questions:
Who was in the swimming pool at the time of the crime and observed the girls or the male group?
Who was even at or in the warm water pool?
Who took photos or videos of the warm water pool or the surrounding area?
- According to the description, the group of youths is made up of six children and youths aged 12 to 17. They had “a dark complexion and dark short hair”, as stated in the police report, and they spoke broken German.
