Pakistani bogus asylum seeker has been living in Germany for eleven years and cannot be deported

“The accused has been defrauding the German state for a multitude of years, even now he is violating his residence permit!”

These are the words of district judge Roland Wirlitsch (61) in the verdict against Waquar H. (38) from Pakistan. The unskilled salesman has been living in Germany for 11 years and cannot be deported.

H. allegedly arrived in the country without papers in 2011, gave a false first name and made himself look ten years younger. “Friends advised me to do this,” he told the judge openly on Thursday.

In 2012, his asylum application was rejected and he is obliged to leave the country. In 2013 he was granted a toleration – deportation is impossible because of missing papers. From 2016 to 2019, he went into hiding, according to the indictment.

In 2019, he suddenly applies for a permit to stay in Dresden again. The immigration office calls the police. Waquar H. has a totally forged Portuguese identity card, but with his real name.

A month later, he presents a genuine Pakistani passport because he wants to work and get married. Today he lives and works in Berlin, although he is only allowed to stay in Dresden.

An employee (62) of the immigration office: “He is on the deportation list, Pakistan refuses to take him back because of Corona.”

The court sentences him to a fine of 6000 euros, which he will probably never pay. By the way, an asylum seeker receives 344 euros/month and the costs of accommodation.
