“The director of the Institute of Social, Economic and Political Sciences (ISSEP) backed up her remarks with a fact: “The majority of immigrants settling in France today are of African, North African and, above all, Muslim origin,” Marion Maréchal explained, adding: “It is completely utopian to imagine that populations are interchangeable in terms of one way of life, one culture and one religion”.
