As part of the ongoing investigation into an incident last Tuesday, in which a young man was knocked down with a bottle and pushed into the water, it has now become known that there was another assault at the Attenhausen bathing pond in Sontheim on Tuesday evening.
Here, too, several young men got into an argument with a group of people presumably of Turkish origin. A 23-year-old and a 24-year-old tried to settle the dispute, whereupon they were both attacked and punched. While one was only slightly injured, the other suffered a broken jaw and is currently in hospital.
The Mindelheim police are now investigating two cases of dangerous bodily harm, whereby it is currently assumed that the same group of perpetrators is involved in both cases.
