France: Muslim who threatened police and Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer with death is released from prison for second time and does community service

Following the citizenship course: community service. Rayanne B., the young man arrested after stealing equipment from a fire truck in Val-de-Marne, was released from police custody on Friday October 8, Valeurs actuelles has learned. The man, who had until then been working as a volunteer in a school to “help groups of one or two children in trouble”, had wielded a gun in another video and declared: “Here we come, you’ll see, we’ll fuck your mother and Mr Blanquer and the national education system, you sons of bitches.”

He had been brought before the prosecutor because of new death threats that he had made, this time against the Minister of Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer. However, he was only to be sentenced to community service because he agreed to undergo the “guilty plea” procedure. This allows the accused to accept a more favourable sentence by admitting the facts and the judiciary to avoid a lengthy trial. Making death threats “by means of a writing, picture or other act” is punishable by three years’ imprisonment and a fine of 45,000 euros.

It is already the second time that the young man uses this possibility to avoid a trial and a possible prison sentence. In addition to the robbery, of which he himself had distributed the video, Rayanne B. had mentioned an attack on police officers on social networks. “I will go to the police, Allah akbar. […] Bang, bang, bang! You dogs, wait, I’m coming, put on your bulletproof vests”. He was offered a citizenship course. The young man released a new video on his release from prison. With a satisfied smile on his face, he told his followers that “thanks to Allah” he was doing well.
