Erdogan supporters want to build a completely Muslim district in the German city of Wuppertal

Erdogan’s loyal executor, the Ditib association, is seizing the opportunity and wants to build a whole new Islamic district in the Elberfeld district of Wuppertal – after the amplification of loudspeakers and the constant Islamic call to prayer worked so well in Cologne.
On 6,000 square metres, architect Cengiz Müjde is planning everything the Islamisation heart desires: grocery shops, kindergartens, assisted living and a mosque. The Islamic paradise of living and well-being is to be built in the Elberfeld district of Wuppertal. This is because Erdogan’s advance party, the Turkish-Islamic Ditib community, has been operating a mosque with various adjoining rooms there for decades. But now that they have a community that is fertile and growing due to a never-ending influx from all the Muslim countries of the world, everything is getting too small. A new, large mosque is to be built opposite the current mosque. The money for the Temple of Allah – around 30 million euros – is to be raised through donations and investors. Although the site is in great demand, the community has already bought all the land it needs, says Ditib spokesman Mustafa Temizer.

However, there is still one problem. And that could really become a problem. There is still a so-called Antifa Centre on the site, which is used by the local left-wing scene. Whether the red-painted ground troops will simply put up with the planned demolition is doubtful. Even without being kicked out, the left-wing extremist comrades are anything but well disposed towards the Ditib. As can be read on Indymedia, the home and court portal of left-wing terrorism, Antifa sees the mosques of the Ditib association “not as places of worship or mosques, but rather as places for fascist propaganda and Turkish nationalist indoctrination”. In a letter of confession to a paint attack on a Ditib mosque in Leipzig in the summer of 2018, the extremist portal says: “If one is aware of all the atrocities that are happening from the Turkish state, if one understands what an important role Germany plays in this and how deeply networked DITIB is with the German authorities, then there needs to be an answer to this.”

What this “resistance” can look like could be observed in Leipzig on Monday. Around 200 people from the “left-wing spectrum” had gathered there for a demonstration against police violence in the east of Leipzig. According to initial information, the Ditib Eyüp Sultan Mosque – a Ditib mosque which, as mentioned, is subordinate to the Turkish religious authority Diyanet and thus to the Islam despot Erdogan – was attacked in connection with a procession of about a hundred hooded people. According to the police, four windows were smashed.

The Islam functionaries, however, are not distracted by such subordinate issues. The Moroccan Islamic community in Wuppertal is also planning a new Islamic centre with a mosque on an industrial wasteland in the Heckinghausen district. The plans have already been submitted to the building authorities. And this building project is also supported by the city. The new centre with mosque of the Kurdish cultural association in the same district is already under construction and is expected to be completed next year, reports the WDR state radio without criticism.
