It was supposed to be a lockdown party – it turned out to be a gang rape nightmare. Two Syrians allegedly lured young girlfriends to a party in their Vienna “Airbnb” flat. There, according to the allegations, they attacked and raped their victims.
Two girlfriends (16 and 17 years old), together with at least two other girls, let themselves be lured by two Syrians (both allegedly 18) into a flat rented especially for this purpose in the street Allerheiligengasse. In the course of the evening, the two men allegedly suddenly locked the flat from the inside, then attacked their victims. Two of the girls, who were probably also to be raped, managed to escape from the ” rapist party” and alert the police.As reported by the newspaper “Österreich”, the crime is said to have taken place on Saturday night. The two Syrians were arrested. The younger victim had to be taken to hospital after first aid by the ambulance service. The Vienna State Criminal Police Office took over the investigation. Forensic evidence and witnesses are being questioned.
