The founder of “Reconquête!” asserted that veiled women could present the news on French television in 30 years, as Sud-Ouest reports. “Look at what is happening in the Islamised suburbs. Look at the incredible number of veils in Roubaix, in the Parisian suburbs …” he said.
The former journalist asserted that “it is not an ultra-minority”, citing several polls as examples. “70 percent of French Muslims want the burkini in swimming pools, at least that it is not banned, and 75 percent want to allow separate opening hours,” he claimed.
